My Design-Engineering Journey: Retrospective
Today, I operate at the absolute intersection of robust software pipelines and elite visual craftsmanship. But my path wasn't a standard computer science trajectory. It was forged at the intersection of print inks, gallery archives, and agentic codebases.
Sector 01: Graphic Production & Script Ingestion (2020)
Company: Capital Group // Covid Era
During the remote Covid era, I served as a graphic production artist at Capital Group, painstakingly designing quarterly financial fund reports and print books under strict CMYK/Pantone guidelines. My interest in financial markets grew rapidly through this data-heavy literature.
To break out of manual layouts, I began writing Python web scrapers and utilizing Pandas and Numpy to automate financial ledger extractions and backtest mock portfolios, bridging my static graphic design training with logical software scripts.
Sector 02: Digital Branding & Conversational UX (2022)
Company: The Huntington Gallery
I secured a production media position at the prestigious Huntington Gallery, exploring interactive digital branding and public museum portals. When asked for recommendations on their website redesign, I conceptualized my very first conversational AI chatbot widget.
As text-to-image generators (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion) emerged, I felt a massive gravitational pull toward prompt design and the incredible interface paradigm shift of natural language-directed software.
Sector 03: FastAPI Microservices & Context Caching (2024)
Company: The Labs Era ("Don Meta")
Coined "Don Meta" by engineering peers, I transitioned entirely into full-stack AI development. I moved beyond generic API wrappers to build custom async FastAPI backends, LangGraph multi-agent runtimes, and low-latency Next.js interfaces.
I engineered dynamic vector search systems, context compression caching layers, and decoupled telemetry pipelines to absorb rapid visitor prompts while protecting rate limits.
Sector 04: Production GraphRAG & Multi-Theme Architecture (2026)
Company: The Design-Technologist Frontier
Today, this portfolio showcases production-level, multi-hop Neo4j GraphRAG database traversal, real-time Firestore CMS telemetry, secure asynchronous notification alerts, and a self-healing heartbeat daemon loop—all packed inside a seamless, JIT-compiled multi-archetype visual theme engine.
By combining the precision of CMYK grids with the logic of agentic swarms, I build products that are beautiful, bulletproof, and highly responsive.
